For over 150 years we’ve been a company always on the go, always evolving. It’s been that way since John Blundstone started making fit-for-purpose footwear that would withstand the cobbled city streets, rugged farmland, dance and factory floors of Hobart, Tasmania, in 1870. And just like our island home which has changed a lot since 1870, our business has evolved but our ethos remains the same. Our commitment to quality and innovation has endured the Great Depression, both world wars, and an ever-changing fashion landscape - from the swinging ‘60s to ’90s grunge to festival fashion in the 2000s. We’ve put boots on Aussie soldiers, Everest expeditioners, footballers, factory workers, farmers, and police men and women. We’ve inspired artists, musicians, chefs, tap dancers, and Olympic athletes to put their best foot forward. Our range of kids boots has inspired a new generation of Blundstone wearers to jump puddles on rainy afternoons. Our history and home remain a source of inspiration - but it’s the people that wear our boots that really inspire us.they’re from.

75 years after our founding, Minnetonka remains a proudly independent, fourth-generation family-run business. On any given day, you can still find three generations of the Miller family hard at work — including Marshall, who's in his 90s and still actively involved! We continue to be grateful for and humbled by the loyalty of our customers, old and new. Looking ahead, we are committed to preserving the high standards and handcraftsmanship of our products. Our overarching goal today is to keep the goodness going, so we can create more joy for generations to come.

In 1982, Millie Merrill designed the first fleece neck warmer in the basement of the Yellow Turtle, a children’s apparel store in Stowe, Vermont. Affectionately dubbed The Turtle’s Neck®, it was a design shift in winter accessories that proves successful to this day. The invention of the Original Turtle's Neck freed once scarf-bound skiers from their tangled and burdensome accessories. This invention also led her to found Turtle Fur, with headquarters now in Morrisville, Vermont.
From The Neck was born The Hat, from The Hat, many more hats. With her husband John, who joined Turtle Fur officially in 1991, the company grew, introducing new products and growing the team. They retired in 2000, and Millie can still be found on the slopes of Mt Mansfield. Today, we carry forward the values Millie embodied - moxie and grit, a sense of adventure and a driving purpose to leave things better than we found them.

Baffin was founded in 1979 by the Hubner family in Stoney Creek, Ontario. With a passion for innovation and an uncompromising dedication to quality, the Hubners built Baffin into a trusted name in cold-climate gear. Rooted in Canadian Winters and with a deep respect for the natural world, the brand quickly gained a reputation for delivering warmth, comfort, and durability when it mattered most.
In 2018, Baffin joined the Canada Goose family, further strengthening our commitment to providing best-in-class cold-climate protection. This partnership has allowed us to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation, with every product remaining true to our Canadian roots and rigorous standards of craftsmanship.
